Donations & Payments

To make a donation:

  1. Browse campaigns and select one you'd like to support
  2. Click the "Donate Now" button on the campaign page
  3. Enter your donation amount and payment information
  4. Review and confirm your donation

You'll receive a confirmation email with your donation details.

We accept digital wallets such as gcash and paymaya through our secure payment processor.

Donations are generally non-refundable as they are contributions to campaigns. However, in exceptional circumstances such as fraudulent campaigns, you may contact our support team for assistance.

Campaign Creation & Management

Starting a campaign is easy:

  1. Create a SparkFund account or log in (as campaign owner)
  2. Click "Start a Campaign" from your dashboard
  3. Fill in your campaign details, story, and goal
  4. Add compelling images and videos
  5. Submit for review (typically takes 24-48 hours)

Platform Fee: 2% of the total amount raised

Payment Processing Fee: Fixed fee of ₱15 per transaction

Example Calculation:

  • For a ₱1,000 donation:
  • Platform Fee: ₱1,000 × 2% = ₱20
  • Payment Fee: ₱15
  • Total Fees: ₱35
  • Net to Campaign: ₱965

These fees help us maintain and improve our platform and cover payment processing costs.

Campaign owners can request payouts at any time, regardless of whether the campaign has ended or reached its goal.

To request a payout:

  1. Go to "My Campaigns" dashboard
  2. Click the money icon or "Request Payout" icon.
  3. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw
  4. Fill up the form for your bank account or payout method
  5. Submit your payout request

Processing typically takes 3-5 business days. You can make multiple payout requests throughout your campaign's duration.

Account & Profile

To reset your password:

  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click "Forgot Password"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for a password reset link
  5. Follow the link to create a new password

You can update your profile by logging into your account, clicking on your profile picture in the top right corner, and selecting "Edit Profile." From there, you can update your personal information, profile picture, and communication preferences.

Yes, we take your privacy and security seriously. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your personal information. We never share your data with third parties without your consent, except as required to process payments or comply with legal obligations.
